Officially this September I will have been selling antique tools on eBay. I take this very seriously and have worked hard to acquire any and all knowledge on vintage tools. That being said I am far from an expert and I welcome and commentary, comments, criticism on my site, sales, and so on. This past year has been a labor of love and I take pride in offering a high quality and low cost service. ---- Now as my business grows I hope to bring a wider variety of tools and anything antique. Feel free to request particular tools or makers and I will do my best to accommodate. ----lastly I would like to thank everyone for their support and continued business. Wes

And finally, as some of you may know I am survivor of Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This June marks the two year anniversary of my body being cancer free. In July my Father and I host a Golf Tournament Fundraiser, which 100% of the processed are hand delivered to Mass General Hospital. This money is used for research and advances in patient care. The event takes place July 11th, at one of RI’s best courses, Exeter Country Club. Its $100 a person includes green fees, Steak dinner, cart, etc, etc. If you don’t golf you can join us for the dinner for $35. Also you can have a tee sponsorship for $100. There are many prizes and give a ways, including a trip to Fort Myers Florida for three days of golf! Of course any and all donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. It’s an event that means a great deal to me, my family, and so many more. Help me help those who saved my life. If you are interested you can send me an email and I will provide you all the information you need, including tax write off info. Thank you so much, Wes Parker.

Snow day sports blog………. Having been a spoiled Patriots fan over the last decade the super bowl has little interest. Than I got to thinking about the years when the Pats were cellar dwellers and still having an interest in the “spectacle” bowl. Realizing that I have grown accustom to football after the new year it is obvious that I have not gotten my fill. The truth is that I have a hankering for chicken wings and need little reason to divulge. How does watching football manifest a need to eat chicken wings? It seems so odd; or does it? Perhaps it stems from traditional term “Pig skin”. It is easy to see how a simple mind like my own would go from thinking Pig skin to Chicken skin… “Ummmm chicken” Where I am? Oh that’s right… Watching the ball sore thru the air like some sort of bird doesn’t help. Wait I got it. It’s that damn John Madden and his relentless pursuit of “Turduckens”! Holy Mackerel, that reminds my of my industrial sized deep fryer…..deep fried turkducken! When is the last time I had chicken fried steak? Anyhow back to the task at hand, the big game. The causal fan would put their money on picking the Steelers. Pittsburgh has the prototypical championship team. Big, fast, hard hitting defense. A consistent ground game. The strong armed, hard to bring down, and efficient QB. All be it the coach is unproven; nothing says he can’t get the job done. The opposing coach has even less head coach experience. It was only a few short years ago the Steelers brought the trophy back to the steel city. The ol “one for the thumb” campaign. If you believe all this, than you are the casual fan. All that aside there is another team playing Sunday. The Arizona Cardinals has a storied history. A history of little success. Did you know they are the oldest continuously run professional football team? Dating all the way back to 1898! Of course this franchise hasn’t always been located in Arizona. Their all time win lose record is 478-679! This is only the second time they have made the post-season since 1982. There is a reason the Steelers are only favored by 7. Arizona does not have the ideal championship style like the Pittsburgh does. No one in there right mind picked the Cards to beat the Atlanta Falcons in round one. Despite the surprise it is important to analyze how they have gotten here. The reemergence of a running game, a defense that got hot over the last month, a anchor of a QB who has seen it all. Has been to the big dance more than once, including another team that had not won anything in what seemed like 110 years. The coach whom I had previously mentioned was a key assistant on the last championship Steelers team. Remember when the Raiders traded their head coach Jon Gruden to Tampa Bay? These team’s met the following season in the super bowl. Gruden’s Bucks dropped the hammer on Oakland and I believe the familiarity was the chief reason why. Last season the Cardinals bet this same Steelers team. The bottom line: Arizona is playing above average on D and in the kicking game. There Offense has been 100% ridiculous. If Warner gets any kind of time in the pocket he will dismantle the Steelers. The Wide outs for Arizona are two of the best in the game and they will get their chances. Yes Pittsburgh can stop the run. But what if there is no run to stop? 34-24 Arizona………. No fried bird for Pittsburgh.
